A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Rector’s Retreat, set within the curtilage of our grade ll listed, 17th c. thatched home in the tranquil Suffolk village of Kettlebaston.

The Rector’s Retreat is available on a self-catering basis throughout the year, (although breakfast will be considered by prior arrangement). It comprises a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a well equipped kitchen, and a lounge/dining  room with TV/Video. It also features full electric storage radiator heating, (usage included within the hire charge), a clock/radio/alarm and a hair dryer.  An iron and ironing board are on hand. All linen and a supply of essential  provisions is included within the price, (please contact us for further details). A patio set is also available.

Ideally situated to explore many of the treasures of East Anglia, the Rector’s Retreat is centrally placed, and within easy reach of Constable country, the historic town of Lavenham, (3½ miles), and many other major attractions. There are numerous excellent pubs and restaurants locally, which offer a wide range of cuisine.

Cyclists are always welcome, (secure garaging is available). Please note that we are located just off the A1 cycle route!

Ample off-road parking is available just outside the accommodation.

We regret that smoking cannot be allowed within the building.
